5 Stars Once you get it strung…
It’s an amazing weapon once you get it strung. Two is better than one for this stringing. Plan on having a friend around to help you string this one… otherwise you’ll never get it done.
4 Stars Great Buy
I bought this item after reading quite a few reviews and not wanting to spend so much money.
let me tell you… I never bought something as good for the money. This is a well constructed crossbow, light and sturdy because of the aluminum frame, easy to cock and load, and very very acurate if you pay attention to detail.
I didnt give this item a 5star rating because the rear sight is not very well constructed, but hey, it works well if you pay attention and with all its cheap construction it still gets the arrows within a 12 inch circle from 25 yards.
A better site would give twice the accuracy.
All in all, great bow, very well constructed, great design, can use better sites.
Very happy with the purchase.
4 Stars Bow is great - extra 12 arrows are junk
The bow is as advertised. It’s accurate, powerful, quiet and has no recoil. The 3 arrows that come with the bow are great as well. The full shaft is aluminum and the fletching is attached in a groove. Very sturdy.
The additional 12 arrows (not made by Cobra) are pure garbage. Half the shaft is aluminum while the other half is a molded plastic rod with the feathers/fletching molded on it. Cheap to produce, I’m sure but useless. On more than half of the arrows the two parts do not line up. This causes the arrow to fly erratically. Also the plastic is fragile and snapped off on 2 of the arrows on the first shot. I was shooting at a special ultra-dense foam specifically made for archery, not a board or stone so there was no reason for the failure. I have re-fletched the short shafts with masking tape and they seem to work OK but not nearly as good as the 3 Cobra arrows.
Some quick advice - don’t order an additional string or anything extra. I did and the string was shipped separately from the bow in a regular envelope and cost an additional $4.95 shipping & Handling bringing the cost of the string to almost $9.
5 Stars Not bad. Not bad at all.
I’ll start off by saying I’m very satisfied with the product. The crossbow itself is well constructed and sturdy and the bolts that came with it have a good weight and feel to them.
Pros:
- Nice design, sturdy and well made
- Shoots beautifully and with a lot of force
- Excellent safety mechanism
- Feels good firing
- Easy to assemble
Just looking at this crossbow you know you’ve got a quality product. I’m definitely looking forward to slaying some rabbits and squirrels with this thing. It came with a package of extra bolts that have wicked sharp tips.
Cons:
- Stringing the prod is difficult if you’re not very strong
- Cocking is also somewhat awkward if you’re not very strong
I’m a weak little skinny person so I can’t complain too much about that.
All in all, I couldn’t be happier with this product. It’s everything it was advertised to be and I would definitely recommend it to anyone*.

4 Stars Crossbow
I am very pleased with the Self-Cocking Pistol Cross Bow I purchased. The only thing I would recommend is that the assembly instructions would be a little clearer. The instructions suggest that you have a friend help you string the Bow, it should say a strong friend but all things considered, I am very pleased with my purchase.
