Head Crossbow 4 Tennis Racquet

Head Crossbow 4 Tennis Racquet

The Crossbow 4 is the tweener option in the Head Crossbow series. This racquet offers a powerful feel thanks to its 107 square inch head, yet with the Metallix material in the throat and the new HEAD Crossbow system, this racquet blends maneuverability with a stable response. Includes the redesigned Stabilizer in the throat area to reduce racquet vibration, making it one of the most comfortable racquets in the market today. Ideally suited for players with moderate, powerful strokes. Recommended for the 3.0-4.5 NTRP level players. CrossBow Technology: The CrossBow bridge is suspended from the frame and moves independently which allows the racquet to store energy in both the stringbed and the bridge. The CrossBow concept acts like a spring or a bow that is loaded during ball impact. It stores that impact energy in both the bridge and stringbed. This new found energy is unleashed in every shot providing incredible power. The stored energy is released as the ball accelerates off the stringbed for maximum power. CrossBow enlarges the sweetspot because it has 10 main strings going through the dynamic bridge. It has a bigger sweetspot than a conventional fixed bridge racquet. bHEAD Metallix: Made of a specially designed matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy. This alloys grain size is 1,000 times smaller than that of a typical metal. The result is a lighter, stronger and more powerful racquet than ever before. Stabilizer: The new HEAD Stabilizer eliminates racquet vibration and ensures the ultimate in comfort on every shot. During ball impact, the Stabilizer continuously swings in an opposite direction to the flex of the frame which counteracts the frame’s oscillation and is extremely effective in stabilizing the racquet for a very solid feel. This Stabilizer also reduces racquet vibrations making it one of the most comfortable racquets in the market today.
