The crossbow is well made and did come assembled. I would highly recommend a rope crossbow cocker to make it easier to cock the bow.

Received this Crossbow (Mk 2999) for Christmas.
After receiving this Crossbow for Christmas I had my doubts….At first the looks were rather compact but was I surprised at the power that it produced. Only fault I might say is the practice bolts that come with it are totally bent on fell apart arfter a couple times of use. I remedied that by getting some Eastman 2216 aluminum 20″ bolts with 100 grain field tips. Then I was able to finnish dialing it in to consistently hit pie plate at fifty yards! Plenty of power Good Deal!
